Bird Makes Nest on Spraypaint Can

Pitfalls of painting outside include rain, bugs, vandals, nosy passersby, cops, and treedroppings just to name a few. But one doesn't anticipate this.

On forward-deployed spraypaint, some sort of birds build a nest!

And laid eggs.

Which are hatching.

It is a seldom-used paint color: glow-in-the dark green-white. Not the sort of color one wants to overuse. So enough days had gone by that this tiny birdymomma felt safe.

Perhaps it is an honor. Won't be using this color for a while.
