*Artist notes:
Stars and tiny scattered crosses ---maybe for fallen troops, maybe for aimpoints--- with Cold War era newspaper clippings, foreign newspapers, crime scene tape, and occasional words like OIL, BOMB; SHALL; ENHANCE; BUY, UP; and others. To some viewers it shows how the U.S. flag is seen by the world and by critics of the U.S.; to many viewers, this IS what the U.S. flag means in the early 21st Century.
